Upcoming Events
Previous Projects
This past year, Flint has been involved in the creation of two new works for trumpet and accompaniment by composer MJ Halco-Haack and Catherine McMichael. McMichael's composition for trumpet and organ, entitled Ascendant, was commissioned by a consortium of musicians, including Flint, led by the Great Lakes Duo.
In 2022, Flint contacted composer and friend MJ Halco-Haack about composing a piece for his trip and performances in Serbia. This work, titled Iowan Vignette, is meant to represent the different seasons of the state of Iowa, from warm days next to the corn fields, to the beauty of the Mississippi River, to the intensity of the winter months. This work premiered in January 2023 at Flint's recital at the Vučković School of Music in Belgrade.
