High School & Collegiate Groups
Flint's first teaching experiences happened on the marching field. Having started working with high schools bands over a decade ago, Flint has taught numerous ensembles in Iowa, Minnesota, North Carolina, Colorado, and Arkansas. These groups range from small 20 person bands to 200 member collegiate ensembles.
His approach is rooted is using healthy fundamentals, student self-awareness, effective communication making him a sought after clinician and adjudicator in the marching arts.

Work in DCI, BOA, and Beyond
On the competition circuit, Flint has been on the education staffs of DCI and BOA groups. In 2014, Flint marched the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps before going on to teach at their youth corps, the Colt Cadets as their Assistant Brass/Visual Caption Head. He also served as the Visual Caption Head at River City Rhythm Drum and Bugle Corps.

​Flint keeps his marching chops fresh through his work as a clinician and judge, working at competitions such as the Waukee Marching Invitational, Valleyfest Marching Invitational, and the Arkansas Regional Competition.
