Ensembles
Flint plays with ensembles both large and small. With performances in numerous orchestras, wind ensembles, and chamber groups, Flint actively seeks out performances with new ensembles as collaboration is an important part of Flint's musical identity. Highlights include performances with the Tallahassee Symphony, Sinfonia Gulf Coast, the Winston-Salem Symphony, Hot Horns, the Gomalan Brass Quintet, a performance with The New Works Trumpet Ensemble at the annual International Trumpet Guild Conference, and at the National Trumpet Competition with the UNCG Trumpet Ensemble.
Soloist
While most soloist performances on trumpet are rarely actually alone, Flint has spent significant time honing his craft as a soloist in both recitals and competitions. A semi-finalist in the Graduate Solo Division of the National Trumpet Competition, Flint believes a strong focus on solo repertoire helps share new ideas across our musical landscape. Notable solo performances include recitals at the University of Novi Sad, the Dr. Vojislav Vučković School of Music (Belgrade), The University of Purdue Fort Wayne, and The High Plains Music Camp
